The traveling exhibition arrives from 21 June to 15 July LEGEND of the Sports Museum. An activity organized within the cultural program of the Mediterranean Games and which will further enliven the city of Tarragona on the occasion of this great sporting milestone.
Nearly 500 objects from which to discover interesting facts and curiosities. Who holds the world record for high jump? Who was the first world football winner? The fairgrounds, located in front of the RENFE railway station and with an area of 2.000 m2, will be filled with great sporting feats.
Tickets can be purchased directly during opening hours at the box office of the fairgrounds. The general ticket will cost € 3, from 7 to 14 years old the ticket will cost € 1 and children under 7 enter for free. Consult clubs, federations and other collaborating entities with a discounted ticket (€ 1).
What will you find in the exhibition?
The exhibition will consist of five different areas, as well as integrated recreational spaces along the route such as a video game and a table football. Spaces where visitors can actively participate.
Història
In the History of Sport space, the collection of Olympic torches from Mexico '68 to Rio '16 will stand out, highlighting the Barcelona '92 Games.
Soccer
The football area will have several areas with world champions, clubs and competitions. We will also find the legends of football worldwide and an important area of the Spanish national team and its history.
Basketball
The NBA and FIBA will have a special presence in the basketball field. We will also find a selection of t-shirts from around the world and the best moments and tools of today's basketball. Visitor participation will be sought.
Other sports
Other sports will also be featured in the exhibition. Popular and practiced team games such as the handball, volleyball, hockey i water polo.
Athletes and feats
Outstanding figures in Spanish sport will have a space dedicated to their feats. Names like Induráin, Nadal, Alonso, Lorenzo, Gasol or Contador will take center stage in LEYENDAS del Museo del Deporte.
