The next ExpOtaku Tarragona is held on July 22, 23 and 24, Manga Show, Anime, Video Games and Japanese Culture. With more than 10 editions in the city, ExpOtaku Tarragona gathered in the edition held in 2019 a more than 12.000 visitors arrived from different parts of Spain and the south of France.
6.000 square meters of content with more than 180 activities organized during the three days of the event, more than 65 exhibitors, 10 collaborating entities from all over Catalonia, more than 500 accredited, cosplay contest, karaoke, kpop dance cover… more than 15 video game tournaments and thousands of euros in prizes.
In next weekend's edition we will find it 7 thematic areas with: musical performances, anime, crafts, martial arts, geek weddings, talks, contests, conferences, cosplay, Korean culture, Japanese culture, demonstrations, exhibitions, exhibitions, fanmeetings, Japanese cuisine, gymkhanas, idols, illustrators and graphic artists, karaoke, k-pop, toy library, masterclass, virtual reality, robotics, simulators, softcombat, workshops, video games.
One of the biggest claims of the event is his growing space dedicated to artisans, illustrators and young creators which this year reaches 45 exhibitors. Visitors will be able to find everything from original illustrations by new authors to creations of steampunk jewelery, through works with glass, wood, fabric making or hand-made merchandising.
The event is held every year on the last weekend of July in the facilities of the Exhibition Center (pavilion in front of the RENFE station of Tarragona). In this edition it expands spaces also using the August auditorium of the Palau de Congressos. The ticket gives access to both spaces and can be purchased in advance through it enllaç.
