The Palau de Congressos de Tarragona signs the facilities for people with ASD
The Palau Firal i de Congressos de Tarragona has incorporated into its internal signage a series of pictograms that children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) use to communicate with their environment. This implementation has been materialized thanks to the Asociación Todos en Azul which works to make visible and improve the conditions of people with ASD.
The president of EMDET SA, Mª José López, and the manager, Jordi Dies, have been involved in this project to make the facilities of the Palau Firal i de Congressos a space adapted to people with autism spectrum. An improvement that will now help children and families who use the facilities in Tarragona.
The new signage has been placed in strategic spaces that were decided in a joint visit between the Palacio de Congresos and the association Todos en Azul.
The Palau de Congressos de Tarragona also collaborated with this association for the recording of the video clip “Destino” by Fran Amaya. With this song the artist gives visibility to families with children with ASD. The scenes of the video clip where the singer appears were recorded in the facilities of the Palau de Congressos.
