Barcelona, 2005, a musical model and a great desire to share music with the world. Thus was born the Catalan group Els Amics de les Arts. That same year, Joan Enric Barceló, Ferran Piqué and Dani Alegret performed at the Sona 9 music competition in which they won the award for best group by popular vote.
However, it wasn't until 2008 that this Catalan pop-folk band took off with the release of their first studio album, Castafiore Cabaret. A year later, they had already sold over 30.000 copies thanks to the release of one of their most successful works, Bed & Breakfast.
The artists have become a benchmark in Catalan music, filling the Palau de la Música Catalana and many of the stages in several Spanish cities such as Madrid, Valencia and Palma de Mallorca. Some of their most famous songs are Jean-Luc and Ja No Ens Passa, tremendous hits that already have more than 3 million plays on Spotify.
