FIRA ÀPAT is the Professional Food and Gastronomy Fair of Camps de Tarragona and Terres de l'Ebre that will take place on 7, 8 and 9 May at the El Palau fairgrounds.

A fair aimed at professionals and lovers of Catalan gastronomy where producers and agri-food producers present their products to both professionals in the sector and end consumers.

Given the great reception we had last year, we repeat our gastronomic event in Tarragona. The renowned chef specializing in haute cuisine and confectionery Gessamí Caramés will be the godmother of the fair and will commemorate the second edition of Fira Àpat. She is the visible face of the kitchen on TV3 who, with her talent, will help us bring the Catalan product closer to everyone.

275435848 5419152871448021 3238365825959678138 n - Exhibition and Congress Center of TarragonaThis edition will have more than 70 exhibitors and two areas with 40 activities where you can enjoy showcookings, talks and workshops. among which we highlight: dessert masterclass with our godmother of the event Gesamí Caramés, local fish workshop with the Fishermen's Guild of La Ràpita, masterclass with Sergi de Maià where we will recover the traditional Clotxa popularly known as “canton of bread ”, the typical breakfast of the farmer of Terres de l'Ebre. We will also be visited by Pep Moreno, a Michelin-starred chef who was recently awarded a Sol Guía Repsol 2022 by the Deliranto restaurant, and we will have a showcoking by DOP Arròs del Delta de l'Ebre.

The ÀPAT Experience Tarragona Fair will take place on Monday 9th, the most professional day that will have the first Meeting of women for Catalan food and the Forum of food and gastronomy of Tarragona, with the presentations of outstanding professionals and personalities of the sector, of the zone of Tarragona.

This initiative has the support of the Generalitat de Catalunya, Tarragona City Council together with Tarragona Turisme and with the collaboration of the departments of the Association of Hospitality Entrepreneurs of Tarragona (AEHT) and the Chamber of Commerce.
