At the beginning of the year it was already anticipated that the activity of the Palau Firal i de Congressos de Tarragona has accelerated its recovery in 2022. Indeed, with 37 confirmed events, in the coming months of May and June the Palau de Congressos will once again have a level of activity like that of 2019.
This week will be the congress of the Spanish Society of Spanish Surgery for Dialysis and Transplant organized by the Hospital Joan XXIII, which will bring together about 150 nephrologists from all over Spain for 3 days. We will also enjoy the Meal Fair from Saturday 7th to Monday 9th May.
The number of galas is also increasing markedly during these months. 9 in total including dance galas, graduation ceremonies and end-of-year festivals confirmed to date.
The celebration of the National Dance Competition is back, although last year it could be held but with restrictions. More than 800 participants and their companions from all over Spain will visit Tarragona on 13, 14 and 15 May, generating a high economic impact on the city. This 2022 will also be the first time the ORBE Catalunya dance championship will be held, with a format and occupation very similar to the National Dance Competition. The 5th AEDA Dance Gala will also be held.
Also noteworthy is the increase in concerts and shows, with 14 confirmed, such as the charity concert for Ukraine "For Peace" on May 21, Queen for kids on June 4, the concert of the Franz Schubert Philharmonic on May 5. June or Eugeni Alemany's monologue "In person wins" on June 11, among other musicals, tributes and comedy shows.
In the coming months, the Employment Fair will also be held, with a total of 7 conferences such as the SWOT Conference, the Therapeutic Update Conference, the OCS Awareness Conference and the Carrefour Employment Forum.
