International Dance Day was celebrated on Saturday. The Palau Feral and Congressos de Tarragona is also working on the promotion of this discipline. In the coming weekends, two dance competitions will be held at El Palau's facilities, where dancers from all over Spain and abroad will participate. A new performance by the International Ballet Company is also scheduled for next June.

El National Dance Contest, will celebrate the Inaugural Gala next May 4. The competition will begin on Friday, May 5 and will last until Sunday, May 7. Three intense days, from early in the morning until after midnight, with more than 950 performances and 100 participating schools. To be able to carry out this dance marathon, the organizers have two auditoriums that will work simultaneously during the mornings to cover all the participants. As every year, the activity hosted by the Palau de Congressos will also be noticeable in the restaurant, hotel reservations, leisure spaces and culture of the city of Tarragona.

On the 13th and 14th of May the ORBE 2023 competition which will once again fill the city with participants and companions. On this occasion, two days full of emotion, effort and recognition of the work that both dancers and teachers carry out rehearsal after rehearsal.

Between the two weekends, more than 12.000 people are expected to visit the city for the dance competitions.

The Ballet is also part of the regular agenda of the Palau de Congressos. The work took place this April Giselle from the hand of the International Ballet Company. And at the end of the year they will be able to see each other Swan Lake and El Trencanous.

As a novelty, next June 13 will be celebrated the Gala of Soloists also performed by the International Ballet Company with acclaimed dancers Cristina Terentiev, Alexandru Balan, Olga Marcova, Vadim Stenteko, Serguei Zdanskii, Ilona Baitler, Tatiana Nazarkevich and Nikolai Nazarkevich. A performance where the public will be able to enjoy fragments of popularly known titles, and others that are more difficult to enjoy on a regular basis such as: Harlequinade, Corsario, Chopiniana, Don Quixote... A magnificent opportunity to taste a little of the best of each of the ballets.
