On October 20, the Genius Room of the Palau de Congressos de Tarragona will become the scene of the XV Conference on Therapeutic Update. A morning of work for primary care professionals that will address issues that affect them in their daily work. The inaugural lecture will be given by Joan-Ramon Laporte, director of the Fundació Institut Català de Farmacologia, and is entitled "Update on the safety of commonly used medicines in primary care". The rest of the day will be divided into 3 roundtable discussions on the prevention and treatment of pneumonia and bronchiectasis superinfection, benzodiazepine withdrawal guidelines and addressing the adverse effects of cancer treatments. . All these issues always through the eyes of primary care.
Next November, the Palau de Congressos de Tarragona will once again be home to primary care professionals with the XXV Congress of Primary Care, which will take place on 5 and 6 November.
