The 2nd edition of the Convention StarracoWars returns to the city of Tarragona on December 1 and 2, 2018. The success of the first edition, in which more than 5.000 people passed, it has pushed the organizers to continue and improve this leisure and entertainment event.
Among the new features are: a contest of cosplay, graphic artists, two exhibitions, choreographies with lightsabers, children's workshops, raffle prizes, retrogaming and many more surprises. The range of international actors and dubbing is also expanding.
StarracoWars was born with the intention of becoming an annual event. In the Association StarWars of Terres de l'Ebre R2-T4 adds Tangerine Works in the organization of the event, the non-profit organization StarProps, dedicated to exhibitions and events especially of the universe StarWars.
The tickets they are already on sale in advance through the platform online Catch it, and soon in the GASCO stores in Tarragona and Tortosa. Advance ticket prices are € 8 adults and € 5 children (from 3 to 12 years old) for one day, in the online sale you will have to add the management fees.
A charitable convention
StarracoWars maintains its home values. The profits will go to two associations that fight against rare diseases that affect children: Associació Sanfilippo Barcelona and ACE Cistinosi (Els Muntells).
Collaborations of € 1 can also be made for different activities of the event, for charitable and non-profit purposes, by entering raffles of products and promotional material.

One of the demands that fans have made has been the presence of actors. In this second edition we will have the presence of Anthony Forrest, a sandtrooper of Mos Eisley in Episode IV and a friend of Luke (deleted scene) and Gerald Home, Tessek / SquidFace and official Mon Calamari in Episode VI .
Cosplay Contest
Participants in the contest (after registering for the Facebook event) will be able to show off their costumes and armor in front of a top-level jury made up of Nebulaluben (Laura Sánchez), cosplayer; Ray Nogues, creator of latex masks; Tangerin Works, suits and armor; and Juanma de Lowcost-Armors, armor replicas.
Exhibitions
Exhibition of large format figures, busts, caganers, LEGO ships and dioramas, vintage merchandising, diorama of the attack on the Death Star and a large diorama of Endor clicks.

Conferences:
The conferences are extended to 11, compared to the 4 scheduled for the previous year. Talks on poster art, book presentations, talks with fans… to give a range of different styles and themes for all audiences and fans.

Ship drones, foam laser swords, games, face painting, the Jedi Academy and more for the little ones to enjoy and delve into the universe StarWars.
