10th CONFERENCE ON MAINTENANCE IN THE CHEMICAL AND PROCESS INDUSTRY SECTOR
On 28 and 29 June, the Palau Ferial i de Congressos will host the 10th Conference on Maintenance in the Chemical and Process Industry Sector organized by theSpanish Maintenance Association (AEM), which will be attended by participants from across the state. This is the third time that the city of Tarragona, a key and leading space in the petrochemical sector in the Spanish landscape, is hosting this event.
During the two days of work will be discussed innovation, new technologies, collaborative robotics, the Internet of Things (Internet of Things) among many other topics. Safety as a basic pillar of the petrochemical industry and the various regulations governing this framework will also be one of the main points of the conference.
The AEM has sought to foster an atmosphere of debate that leads to reflection on the vision of maintenance for the next decade and dual training, a key pillar for the competitiveness of SMEs. For this reason, round tables have been organized on these topics.
The final objective of the conference is for Maintenance professionals to draw up a roadmap in order to combine the breadth of rules to be complied with (Security, Asset Management, Energy Efficiency…) and the continuity of Maintenance optimization. .
The Asociación Española de Mantenimiento is a non-profit association founded in 1977 for the study, promotion and dissemination of maintenance. It currently has more than 300 entities and / or professionals.
The EEA is a member of the EFMS (European Federation of National Maintenance Societies) and a founding member of the FIM (Iberoamerican Maintenance Federation).
Tarragona is the ideal place to carry out this type of activity aimed at training and improving the petrochemical sector, an industry very present and integrated in the city. It is expected that in future editions Tarragona will repeat again as the venue for the conference.
