7th ExpOtaku Edition at the fairgrounds

As every July, ExpOtaku returns to Tarragona and does so with its seventh edition. A very well - established event in the city that welcomes a large audience of fans manga, anime, Gaming i cosplay. The event will take place on 21, 22 and 23 July (Friday to Sunday) at the Palau de Congressos exhibition center, in front of the Renfe de Tarragona station.

ExpOtaku arrived in the city of Tarragona from the hand of its organizer David Gaspar who saw the need for an event of this nature in the territory. In each edition they have been growing and the passage of about 5.000 people is expected during the weekend. The theme of ExpOtaku is very specific and attracts its fans who find a space to enjoy this passion.

The essence of ExpOtaku

Very diverse costumes and characters manga i anime walking both inside and around the fairgrounds. A very fun and endearing atmosphere that encourages attendees to participate in all kinds of activities.

Workshops, competitions, water wars, weddings geeks, introduction to Quidditch, video games, are some of the many activities that will take place from 21 to 23 July. You can find the complete program on the organizers' website.

Official PlayStation

The PlayStation brand will have an official presence at ExpOtaku Tarragona. This will be the first edition where the brand itself will have a space of 182m2 with PS4 and PlayStation VR and its new video games.

Ticket sales

ExpOtaku tickets will go on sale directly at the box office on the day of the event. There are different prices depending on the duration of the ticket: 1 day (5 €), 2 days (9 €), 3 days (12 €). For children under 7, admission is free and on Sunday, July 23, admission is free for Cosplayers.

It is expected that around 30% of the audience will be from outside Tarragona. In the last edition it was public from the Balearic Islands, Almeria and many other parts of Spain.
