Biennial Conference on Neurology at the Palacio de Congresos

The Palau Ferial i de Congressos hosts the IV Biennial Conference on Updating the Treatment and Diagnosis of the Most Prevalent Neurological Diseases. An event organized by the Catalan Society of Neurology that brings together around 200 professionals in the sector in a day of updating knowledge and debate. During the day, various topics on neurology will be covered: dementia, multiple sclerosis, movement disorders, vascular brain diseases, headaches and neuromuscular diseases. The Noèlia Foundation, which fights congenital muscular dystrophy due to Collagen VI deficiency, will also be presented.

The previous editions of the biennial have been held at the Hospital General de Catalunya (Sant Cugat), Hospital Arnau de Vilanova (Lleida) and Parc Hospitalari Martí i Julià (Salt-Girona).

On the same day, the Palau Ferial i de Congressos also hosts the XVI Therapeutic Update Conference organized by the Catalan Society of Family and Community Medicine (CAMFIC). This morning they will hold three round tables on biosimilar drugs, patients with anticoagulant and antiplatelet therapy and depressive disorder in adolescents.
