Tarragona will host for 3 days the ANAPRODE competition, 1.200 semi-professional and amateur dance participants who will compete in the 11th edition of this event.
Once again the Tarragona Exhibition and Congress Center will be the venue for the Competition National Dance for the Support and Promotion of Dance in Spain in collaboration with the National Dance Confederation of France.
A total of about 4.700 people will pass through the city of Tarragona among participants, companions, judges and organization. A large logistical deployment that has already filled almost all the rooms of some hotels in the city center. This situation is common during the contest, in the previous edition ofANAPRODE, hotels in the area also registered a high occupancy.
The National Dance Competition is attended by dancers who have managed to pass the various qualifiers that have been held throughout the year in different states. Among the participating schools are the Tarragona girls: Scenic dance, Montserrat dance and Artemis dances, with students of different ages and dance styles. two schools from Vallès and two from Cambrils also take part.
The Palau Ferial i de Congressos is the venue chosen by the organization to hold the competition and works to ensure the smooth running of the event, complex by the volume of participants.
The competition was born with the aim and desire to promote and enrich the dance studies of amateur and pre-professional dancers. In the ANAPRODE dance competition we find different styles of dance: classical, contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, bowling school, stylized dance, flamenco and fusion.
In addition, contestants can enter the contest in three different ways: solo with a variation, in a duet or in a group (from three to twelve people). The ages of the participants are between 8 and 25 years old and must always be presented by a teacher or a dance school.
